Breathing...
The blinds moving with the morning breeze reminded me of breathing. That unsteady air going in and out of a space.
Early morning reflecting and watching how parts of my exterior spaces move. Although they are fixed in place they still find a way to live. Shadows move with the sunlight, curtains flow in the shape of the wind, the carpet changes direction to imprint our steps. All subtle but all pivotal in my exterior space.
This thought process I believe started when participating in the curatorial play project with the chair earlier in the year. I see the home differently now, all of it is living and I take inspiration from it. It also reminds me of the animated Film 'Monster House' a house is possessed by the ghost of its previous owner, they couldn't let go of their home and so they became the house. The house became her body and the movements mimic her bodily functions.
